Patten Pear (Pyrus communis ‘Patten’)
Patten Pear is known for its large, juicy fruit with smooth, buttery texture. Developed for cold climates, it offers excellent hardiness and dependable production even after harsh winters. Spring brings clusters of white blossoms that attract pollinators, followed by green-yellow fruit perfect for fresh eating, baking, and canning. Patten performs best with a compatible pollinator like Summercrisp, which is why the two are paired together.
